Why am I blogging about the Eye of the Storm?

Hi, I'm Carla and I'm a Christian. When I was 18 years old I found myself reluctantly spending time in the first 24-7 Prayer Room in my home city in England. I didn't want to be there because I sucked at prayer. What I learned in my first two hours in that sacred, creative, smelly room, was that I had totally missed the point, or person! Since then, I have spent over half my life in this movement, learning the joy and challenges of seeking Jesus in prayer.

Now I'm on a new learning curve. I'm learning how to listen, how to be still before God. As part of my process I'm capturing my experiences, and some of what I'm learning here.  If you're a fellow learner I'd love to hear from you. I hope my journey is an encouragement to yours.
